Mark Blackwell remembers meeting Michael at the White House on April 5 1990

When President George Bush awarded Michael Jackson the "Entertainer of the Decade" on April 5th 1990. Mark Blackwell, then an editor at Spin Magazine was there to cover the event.
"It was quite a surreal occasion," Blackwell said. "For most of the presentation, Michael Jackson stood with his hads behind his back."
Later when Blackwell asked the renowned performer if he had a quote for Spin readers, Michael Jackson simply replied, "I Love You All."
